Who we are

Alexander MD Consultants was founded by Dr. Margaret Alexander and Allen Hill to bring together two distinct but complementary disciplines: clinical medicine and federal enterprise leadership. We advise organizations navigating complex challenges in healthcare, technology, and government.

Our belief is simple: the best counsel comes from people who have done the work, not just studied it. Dr. Alexander is a Yale-trained, board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist and fellowship-trained gynecologic oncologist, a researcher at the National Cancer Institute during the early development of the HPV vaccine, a Castle Connolly Top Doctor every year since 2009, and a member of the Washingtonian Top Doctors Hall of Fame. Allen Hill is an award-winning former federal CIO and 20-year Air Force veteran who led multibillion-dollar technology programs across three federal agencies and helped shape federal cybersecurity and modernization policy. Together, that gives our clients something rare: strategic counsel fluent in both the clinical and the operational sides of the problems they face.
